What a meaningful event….the silent vigil remembering Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6, the 69th anniversary year. (Click on photos for larger images.)
Wonderful signs made by Eva-Lee forming a solid line on the steps of the 42nd Street Library. So many passers by did stop to read each sign. And many photos taken…..and I think we ran out of flyers!
However, not fully silent. Tom could not help but remind people that Indian Point, nuclear power plant, is just down the road….and it should be shut down!
