Monday, January 12 — Press conference on the steps of City Hall regarding the planned trip of 14 New York City Council members to Israel next month.
Perhaps due to the heavy rain, the turnout of supporters (maybe 30) and media (maybe 5) was limited, but an excellent group of speakers clearly indicated the reasons why the coalition opposes the visit. The progress in the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement was highlighted.
Messages to the participants for the planned trip, especially Melissa Mark – Viverito need to continue.
